The ICCO and PRCAI are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of PR talent through the Next Generation PR World Cup 2024. This prestigious global competition invites PR professionals under 35 to showcase their world-class ideas and work. The Next Gen PR World Cup serves as a creative pitch competition, providing a platform for emerging PR professionals to demonstrate excellence in PR and communications.
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN PRCAI ICCO PR WorldCup?
The PRCAI Next Generation PR World Cup 2024 forms the India qualifier competition for the global ICCO Next Generation PR World Cup 2023. The national winner competes with teams from more than 81 countries.
ICCO Next Gen PR World Cup Competition Format:
Participants, in teams of two, are required to create a PR campaign that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of a brief set by a chosen NGO and meets all their detailed requirements. The briefing, submissions, and winners' announcement will be held online.
International Competition Schedule:
- Team submission deadline: 16th April 2025
- Online briefing: 23th April 2025
- Competition dates: 23th – 25th April 2025
- Judging period: 26th April – 6th May 2025
- Winners announcement: 8th May 2025
Judging Criteria: The judging panel will evaluate submissions using a scoring system based on predefined criteria. The team with the highest score will be declared the winner.
The PR World Cup is a global competition. To qualify, participants must have either won national/regional PR World Cup rounds or have been nominated by a national/regional association through existing competitions and other merits.
- Both team members must be 35-years-old or younger as of June 1, 2024.
- Agency, in-house, and freelance professionals are welcome to compete (no restrictions, and team members do not need to be from the same organization).
- All teams must consist of two people and be submitted by a local association i.e. PRCAI.
Rules:
- At least one team member must attend the online briefing session.
- Teams must submit both a deck and a video within the 48-hour deadline.
- The submitted work must be independent and solely created by the team, without any outside influence.
- All submitted campaign ideas, especially the winning one, may be used and executed by the NGO that provided the brief. In such cases, the authors will be contacted by ICCO and the NGO representatives and may have the opportunity to take part in the pro bono execution of the idea.

Young talent are the target audience for any communication around the globe and they have greater responsibility towards shaping and driving the next generation Global communication goals.
We need to do the balancing act between the IQ communication & the EQ communication to support global purpose driven initiatives and corporate goals.
WINNERS ARE AWARDED
- Opportunity to present at ICCO Global Summit 2025 with travel and accommodation covered by the ICCO.
- Opportunity to discuss the implementation of the idea with the NGO.
- All finalists will join the ‘Next Gen Group’ within ICCO and have the opportunity to become part of the Next Gen Board.
